1. Dr. D. N. Sonawane (Registrar)

Dr. D. N. Sonawane is an Associate Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering at COEP Technological University and head of Department of Instrumentation and Control. He has completed his PhD (Engineering) from University of Pune in 2012 and Post-doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis (USA) and University of Washington Seattle (USA) during January 2014- August 2015. His research focuses on the real-time implementation of computationally complex control algorithms on embedded platforms. His team works on the efficient and robust embedded implementation of on-line and off-line Model Predictive Controller (MPC) on various Embedded platforms. He has wide experience of 21 years in teaching and research.

 

2. Dr. S. D. Agashe (Vice-Chancellor COEP Technological University)

Dr. S. D. Agashe is a Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering at COEP Technological University. He has completed his PhD (Engineering) from University of Pune in 2007. His research focuses on sensors, process control and automation. Currently he is working on” Virtual Laboratory” project which is funded by MHRD. He has wide experience of 34 years in teaching, research and industry.

 

 

3. Dr. S. L. Patil

Dr. S. L. Patil is a Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering and Dean, Alumni and International Affairs of COEP Technological University. He has completed his PhD from IIT Delhi in 2008. His research focuses on power electronics, biomedical, signal processing, and Instrumentation & control. Currently he is working on “Portable intensive care unit setup for rural health infrastructure” project which is funded by Rajiv Gandhi Science & Technology Commission. He has wide experience of 26 years in teaching & research.

 

4. Dr. C. Y. Patil

Dr. C. Y. Patil is a Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering. He completed his PhD from SPPU in 2010. His research focuses on Signal Processing, Soft Computing and Biomedical Image Processing. He has wide experience of 32 years in teaching & research.

 

5. Dr. R. D. Kokate

Prof. (Dr.) R. D. Kokate is a Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering at COEP Technological University. He has completed his Ph.D. (Engineering) from SRTMU, Nanded in 2012. His research focuses on sensors, process control, Signal Processing and soft computing. He has wide experience of 30 years in teaching, research.

 

6. Dr. P. D. Shendge (HOD) 

Dr. P. D. Shendge is a Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering. He has completed his PhD from SRTMU Nanded in 2008. His research focuses on Sliding mode control, Uncertainty and Disturbance Estimation and Robust control and active controls for vehicles. He has wide experience of 25 years in teaching & research.

 

 

 

7. Dr.(Mrs) R. P. Mudhalwadkar

Dr. (Mrs) R. P. Mudhalwadkaris an Associate Professor in the Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering at COEP Technological University. She has completed her PhD (Engineering) from University of Pune in 2010. Her research focuses on Analytical Instrumentation and sensor design. Currently she is working on “Fabrication of a small satellite for monitoring radiations in different orbits of outer atmosphere where orbit maneuvering will be controlled by solar sail.” project funded by ISRO-UOP. She has a wide experience of 21 years in teaching & research.

 

 

8. Dr. U. M. Chaskar

Dr. U. M. Chaskar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering at COEP Technological University. He has completed his PhD (Engineering) from University of Pune in 2012. His research focuses on Biomedical Instrumentation, Biomedical Signal and Image Processing, Biometrics, Clinical Engineering. Currently he is working on “Portable Intensive Care Unit Setup for Rural Health Infrastructure” project funded by Rajiv Gandhi Science &Technology Mission, Government of Maharashtra. He has a wide experience of 20 years in teaching & research.

 

9. Mrs. M. A. Khandekar

Mrs. M. A. Khandekar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering at COEP Technological University. She has completed her M Tech (Instrumentation & Control) from Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering at College of Engineering Pune in 2008. Her research focuses on industrial automation, process instrumentation and control system components. She has a wide experience of 16 years of research and teaching.

 

10. Mrs. Ketki Ghodinde

Mrs. Ketaki Ghodinde is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering at COEP Technological University. She has completed her M Tech (Instrumentation & Control) from Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering at College of Engineering Pune in 2010. Her research focuses on sensor development and automation. She has a wide experience of 21 years of teaching, research and industry.

 

 

11. Dr. K. A. Bhole

Dr. K. A. Bhole is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering at COEP Technological University. She has completed her PhD (Engineering) from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2018. Her Research focuses on Biomedical signal processing, Biomechanics, Modelling of biological systems, Fuzzy Logic, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.  She has a wide experience of 12 years of research and teaching & research.

 

12. Dr. A. S. Deshpande

Dr. A. S. Deshpande is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering at COEP Technological University Pune. She received the B.E., M. Tech and Ph.D. degree in Instrumentation Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2006, 2009 and 2020, respectively.  Her research focuses on Process Instrumentation, Process Control, Renewable energy, and Industrial Automation. She has published more than 42 papers in international journals, book chapters and conferences. She has a total of 14 years of experience includes 13- years of research and academics and 1-year of industry.

 

 

13. Dr. Girish Lakhekar

Dr. GIRISH V. LAKHEKAR received the B.E. degree in instrumentation engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, India, in 2007, and the M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in instrumentation engineering from Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nanded, India in 2009 and 2019, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, COEP Technological University, India. He has published eight articles in international journals and ten papers in national/international conferences. His active research interests include motion control of underwater robotic vehicles, sliding mode control, advanced process control, and cognitive radio. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and the Instrument Society of India.

 

14. Miss. Nikhila L Patil

Miss. NIKHILA PATIL is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering at COEP Technological University. She has received the B.E. degree in Instrumentation Engineering from Shivaji University , Kolhapur , India in 2011. She is University Topper for the year 2011. She has completed M.Tech with specialization in Process Instrumentation Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, India in 2013. She has published 3 articles in international journals. Her research interests are Nanotechnology-Thin Film development for Industrial Applications, Gas sensor Development. She has 4.5 years of teaching experience and 2.5 years of Industrial & Research experience.
